In early 2008, I began work on the creation of a new website for the American Flatbread Company- makers of fine artisan organic pizzas.
This was my first big web design project and it was such a great learning experience for me.
The top banner design, animated flags, and decorative wheat and baker peel, were illustrated by myself to mimic the unique style of artwork that adorns the walls of all Flatbread’s restaurants.
Wordpress powers this website. The solid template structure and user-friendly admin pages should make future editing and site expansion easy for the client.

More consulting work for American Flatbread Company (AFC). This time, a new logo setup.
Originally, the logo was only the “American Flatbread” type. It was in a rasterized format which made it less versatile for print projects. My first task was to create a vector version of the type.
I then created a series of graphics to be used in conjunction with the logo, which we (AFC and myself) felt captures the basic spirit of the company and their work.

While working on the website for American Flatbread Company, I was asked to do a little consulting work on the side.
One of the projects was an update of their frozen flatbread retail boxes.
My job was preflighting the design files for press. I had some design input as well, mainly working with typography, tweeking white-space, and adding a bit of color.
